The instruction focuses on the use of powerful, action words, the art of recording statements of fact, learning basic principles of communication, the importance of everyday language during fact-gathering and recording, how to organize thoughts and the Commandments of Effective Law Enforcement Reporting and also includes a segment on writing use of force reports.
